Job Abstract:
This Nursing Director is responsible for the direction and operational management of the Medical-Surgical Units. This person is responsible for
strategic planning, evaluation and action plan implementation, performance improvement, and financial performance. The Nursing Director, in
conjunction with the Med/Surg Nurse Managers, is responsible for maintaining a clinical environment that reflects research and evidence-based
nursing practices and standards. He/she must assure sufficient numbers of competent staff as well as an effective and efficient patient care
delivery model. The Nursing Director provides leadership to a team of physicians, hospital leadership and staff to develop and achieve quality
and safety, customer service, and financial objectives.

Basic Requirements:
- Current/valid RN license, willing to get an Oregon state license
- Requires either BSN + Master’s Degree in a related field, OR MSN
- Must be CPR certified
- Minimum of three (3) years progressive management experience
- Experience at a Magnet-accredited facility strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds
